Amazing first opening night in this new restaurant. Chill vibe, cool tunes, great cocktails.... and the food is sublime. Really relaxed atmosphere. We had lamb crumpets, sardines, hummus and an unbelievable pork scotch egg all were superb. The mains Day Boat wild sea bass en papillotte was served in parchment with sticky fingers and I think sea asters... wow! Two sirloin steaks cooked to perfection and high quality meat. We really didn't expect this level of cooking and superb hospitality on an opening night but service was friendly, charming and seamless. Cocktail list is great too and all made to order. We have booked in for New Years Eve... I'd suggest booking ASAP as this place is going to be popular

A delicious broccoli and Cornish blue soup to start. My pork chop was a good size , beautifully cooked and very tasty. The wild Sea Bream en papillote my partner had was a good size with sea veg and new potatoes. Lovely puddings and cheeses. The meal was given 9 of 10 by my partner. I’ll give it 10. The restaurant was very nearly full and there was a nice buzz. It has all been redecorated and tastefully furnished with very comfy upholstered chairs.
